Kara Duffy, Tacoma, Point Defiance Park

Kara Duffy moved to Washington from California at the age of eight and is proud to claim herself as a true Washingtonian through and through. She resides in the North End of Tacoma with her two cats in the house that she grew up in during her junior high and high school years. Her hobbies include mountain biking, listening to a wide variety of music, watching documentaries and movies all of genres, being involved with organizations that make a difference in the community such as Rotary and Relay for Life, exercising, laughing hard and often, making people smile, and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

Kara has been exercising at home for 14 years because she never really got the "feel" for working out at a gym. She attends classes at a gym on occasion to check out new trends and to help her friends use some of the equipment. Other than that, it's all about training in the privacy of her home or taking it outside to hit the streets, or the trails. Kara is the owner of Miboso Studio, which is her home studio where she has been teaching clients the importance of physical and mental wellness for over a year. "Positive energy is contagious and once you have the mind, body, and soul all fired up with positivity; the results are threefold. A healthy lifestyle and a healthy outlook on life is a way of being and once it becomes a habit, you're as good as gold. I absolutely love helping others reach their personal best through whichever avenue works best for them. I'm honored to be a part of NW Boot Camps and I look forward to helping Boot Campers reach their personal best!"

Bailey Whipple, Issaquah Highlands Location

My name is Bailey Whipple. I was born and raised in Issaquah and graduated from Skyline High School in 2001. I participated in cheer and gymnastics while dancing hip hop on the side. I started kickboxing in 2002 and have loved every minute of it to this day. I recently graduated from Western Washington University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science. I completed two half marathons and became a Certified kickboxing instructor while at Western. I worked as a physical therapist aid for a couple years out of college and realized my true passion lies with kicking people's butts and helping them achieve their fitness goals. I decided to work with NW Bootcamp to fulfill this passion of mine. I am getting my NSCA certification in Personal Training and am First Aid certified. My motto as always been, "Whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger!"
